It's Time for Confession!!!
This week's Confessions are all about the recent road trip that we embarked on last week!
Here we go!

...I confess that traveling with children (or in this case a child) is WAY different from traveling as two adults.

...I confess that the trip down Kyra tricked me into thinking that this was going to be a piece of cake.Haha....No.

...I confess we did not stop on the way down because the Kyra was asleep. Each stop my husband asked me if we should take a break. I shook my head violently. DO NOT STOP. DO NOT WAKE THE BABY!

... Goldfish and Animal Crackers are the food of the gods when it comes to traveling with a kiddo....

...Car Seats are so inconvenient. Kyra hates them, the buckles make no sense, but apparently they are the SAFEST things ever...

...my ears are still ringing from the crying.

...That the lack of baby changing stations is ridiculous. WHY DON'T YOU HAVE A BABY CHANGING STATION??!!

...iPads, iPods, iPhones.....all of these things will be given to the child in an attempt to stem the flow of sobbing. Who cares what the stupid things cost? I NEED MY SANITY.

haha my best friend just came to see me, and her road trip sounds similar to hers. Her motto is the same... never wake a sleeping baby!!!
ReplyDeletehahaha Im sure travelling with your man alone is so much easier! But Im sure both of you would have missed her hehe the trials of a parent huh?
ReplyDeleteOh, bless your heart! I hope you can recover quickly :)
ReplyDeleteI applaud you. I don't know that I could road trip with kids...I can barely road trip with other adults.
ReplyDeletetraveling with a kid is no vacation. when you come back, you're exhausted and you need another vacation from your vacation! i never travelled with kayla until she was 2 but before that? HELLS NO. a crying baby annoys ME; i didn't want to be that annoying family on the plane!
ReplyDeletethanks for linking up!
