A Case of the Mondays

Afternoon Everyone,

I'm so late putting this up because the weekend was just so busy that I was BEYOND exhausted and in no mood to write last night. Also I spent the entire morning cleaning/prepping tonight's dinner/wrapping my Bobby's anniversary gift/cleaning more.

To say my mood isn't in a good place is a bit of an understatement. I'm frustrated that there was so much to do. A lot of things went wrong:

1) Luna decided that since she was mad we were busy this weekend she would destroy the carpet on the stairs. Also rip up the baseboard. Ugh.

2) They still have not come to mow our grass. The neighbors are all done and now we look like "that" house. I'm fuming.

3) Dishes were left in the sink. I took Mother's Day off because I thought I could. Hah.

4) PILES of laundry.

5) I hate being asked "what do you want to do" seriously doesn't anyone have a plan?

I know this sounds like I'm being a drama queen. I mean yesterday was Mother's Day and I got a sweet card from Kyra and I had a lovely brunch with my family. Also tomorrow is our three year anniversary. I should be excited and happy but I'm just in a funk today. I hope to shake it before tomorrow and I am VERY excited about the gift I made for Bobby. I honestly can't wait to share it with you all here, I even have a DIY!

Another thing to be excited about is the Show Us Your Books Linkup! I read some really awesome books last month and I am can't wait to share them with you all!

Now I'm off to make a late lunch for Kyra and hopefully get a workout in before a much needed shower.

Confessions 2/11

Good Morning Everyone,

It's Time to Confess!

I confess....

Going to the Eye Doctor always stresses me out a bit. I always feel like it is some sort of test I'm not prepared for. Number 1 or 2, 3 or 4....etc. I always panic a little inside like...am I saying the right thing? Can I actually see? Is number 3 better?! So much pressure!

My eyes are fine btw...and new contacts on the way!

Yesterday was one of those really busy/crazy days. I dropped Luna off to be fixed, had an eye appointment and then Kyra got sick.She's much better now but during the whole process I was trying to sound cheerful and make her feel better even though I was worried.

I feel like the worst person ever having dropped Luna off and now she is so sore. However in the long run it is for the best....but I still feel horrible about it.

I got another book from the library last night and stayed up WAY too late reading. I'm about halfway done now but that is only because I had to order myself to close the iPad down and go to bed!

I now also have a HUGE list for the library thanks to the book linkup yesterday!

I also confess I haven't gotten back to most of the comments or actually gotten around to commenting yet...yesterday was so crazy....but I will get to them!
