Choose Your Own Adventure- May Recap

 Good Morning Everyone,

Today is the last of the Choose Your Own Adventure linkup! I'm a little bummed as this has been a fun set of challenges but with summertime now in full swing around here it will probably be for the best as it gets busier!
Life According to Steph

So here is how I did on last month's goals!

May's Goal: Read

1) Get caught up with my GoodRead's Challenge. I am 6 books behind as of today!---I am currently 3 books behind now. I didn't get completely caught up but I did try. Honestly I have been busy and a little distracted when it comes to sitting down and reading! However I do have a nice list of books for the Show Us Your Books Linkup next week!
2) Listen to at least 1 new audiobook. (This counts as reading too right?)---I did it! It wasn't a long book by any means but it was a set of short stories with one of the stories being by an author that I follow regularly. Fun to listen to and great for when I was trying to get my daily steps in!

So yes these were pretty small goals to set for myself but honestly I felt pretty good at what I managed to get accomplished!

Can't wait to see how you all did! Have a Happy Thursday Everyone!

Choose Your Aventure: Finances Recap and May Goals

Good Morning Everyone,

It's time for the Choose Your Adventure Linkup! Last Month: Finances!

Life According to Steph

 April's Goal: Finances

1) Stick to budget with a limited "free spending" amount-- Actually did pretty good on this one. Staying home saves money!

2) Organize bills onto my smartphone with updated payment dates and amounts (I still have notifications from things I paid off like...two years ago. My car for example!)-- Done! Updated and scheduled a lot of them!

May's Goal: Read

1) Get caught up with my GoodRead's Challenge. I am 6 books behind as of today!

2) Listen to at least 1 new audiobook. (This counts as reading too right?)

I think that will be challenge enough for the month considering we are entering the wedding/summer season and things are about to get busy around here!

Choose Your Adveture Linkup: Relationships/Finances

Good Morning Everyone,

It's time for the Choose Your Adventure Linkup!

Life According to Steph

March's Goal: RELATIONSHIPS
1) A half hour to hour of stretching/fitness/wellness- Relationship with Self and with Kyra (she's been doing my morning stretches with me! So Cute!) --Managed to do this about 90% of the month...it may have been the only thing to keep me from stressing out completely.

2) Plan get together with friends for the upcoming months--Friendships--Actually got together with two during Comicon...maybe plans for this month but nothing set in stone...half a point.

3) One date night just Robert and Me- Husband and Self ---Life happened. This didn't. Try again next month.

4) Bedtime Story Time- Kyra, Self, Husband --This happened every night, though some nights it was a super short book, but we kept at it and will continue!

April's Goal: Finances

1) Stick to budget with a limited "free spending" amount

2) Organize bills onto my smartphone with updated payment dates and amounts (I still have notifications from things I paid off like...two years ago. My car for example!)

Nothing too big for this month. I confess finances aren't really exciting even if they are necessary!

Creativity....In Progress

Good Morning Everyone,

It's time for the Choose Your Adventure Linkup!!

Life According to Steph

February's Goal: CREATE

 1) I want to create a costume for Comic Con in March.---Well....not so much. Kyra has a costume that I picked out and my mom created that I will reveal after Comic Con next week...but as for me? Yeah...nada. It has a lot more to do with my own self esteem issues than actual creativity...but still a big NO on this one.

2) One piece of artwork for my home--This is actually an "in progress" one. I have the piece I am working on...it just isn't done yet because it has been too cold to really work on painting it. So I only get half a point on this one.

3) Does more work on the novel count? I'm counting it. ---Yes! Major edits were done but still not out of the editing phase yet. I have a whole section that still needs a rewrite in order to fix some plot holes. Half a point again.

March's Goal:RELATIONSHIPS

1) A half hour to hour of stretching/fitness/wellness- Relationship with Self and with Kyra (she's been doing my morning stretches with me! So Cute!)

2) Plan get together with friends for the upcoming months--Friendships

3) One date night just Robert and Me- Husband and Self

4) Bedtime Story Time- Kyra, Self, Husband

I'm looking forward to March's goals! I actually am working on a post about Number 1 on the list as it is something that Kyra and I just started! That post should be up on Monday or Tuesday!

So how did you do last month? Were you Super Creative or kind of give it a miss like me? Be sure to share in comments!

Happy Thursday Everyone!

P.S.- A BIG Thank You to all those that wished my Mum a happy birthday the other day! She had a really great day!

Choose Your Own Adventure Linkup: Complete and Create

Good Morning Everyone,

Life According to Steph

Today we share our progress on our goals from last month and find out what our goals for this month will be! Let's get started:

January's Goal: COMPLETE

So here are my "Complete" Goals:

1) Complete the entire month using the cleaning schedule I've started this week.---Great Success! I love my cleaning schedule and I'm not sure how I ever lived without one! Not only have I stuck to it but I have gotten ADDITIONAL things done because of it! I have so much more time simply because it is managed better!

2) Complete all tax prep--Not only is the prep done but the whole thing is done! Taxes are filed and sent! HUGE weight lifted!

3) Complete edits on my finished first draft of Book One---Well Edits are not completely done....I have some serious work to do as I found some major plot holes and actually want to rewrite an entire section BUT I did do a huge amount of editing and wouldn't have found these issues without it...so I count it as a Win.

 February's Goal: CREATE

 1) I want to create a costume for Comic Con in March. I am going all three days and one of them I want to Cosplay. Wish I could sew...

2) One piece of artwork for my home

3) Does more work on the novel count? I'm counting it.

How did you do on your goals last month? Are you joining again this month? What are your "Create" goals? Be sure to join the linkup and let us all know!
