What's Been Happening Around Here....

This guy turned 3 months old.....

This girl started Kindergarten and has been my big helper all summer long. She's a rockstar. 

I've been all over the place. Postpartum life is no joke and honestly I had forgotten just how hard and wonderful it can be. I'd never trade a moment of it away but some days when I've only slept for 2 hours and I can't remember the last time I saw a shower I have to remind myself that it gets better that as we get into our routine we will learn and grow and it will get easier. And every day slowly it gets better. 

These two got their summer/fall hair cuts and they look like mother and daughter now. 

There was a shark cake.  

Some family outings. 

All in all it's been a busy and eventful summer and I'm looking forward to this fall and all our adventures yet to come.

Well Hello December you sexy thing!

I am so behind on literally everything but I wanted to get a quickie blog post up today while I am working on some MUCH longer blog posts that will be coming up this week. 

Basically since December began I have been in a whirlwind of fun and awesome. My two best girlfriends came in for five days! It was beyond fun and hilarious and just the best break from life that I could have asked for. Seriously I love those two girls so much and this weekend was everything I could have hoped for and more. I will be doing a big ol' recap this week but it is a lot so it will have to be broken up into different posts because there are so many pictures that I want to share with you all! I really wanted to do Vlogmas but I totally spaced and forgot my camera for vlogging. So I will just share some photos and maybe I will get some vlogging done this week!


So today will be a day of getting my house back in order, organizing photos, working on my own blog posts and catching up on all of you! So if you are getting comments on posts from weeks ago...that's just me!

Guess Who's Back? Back Again?

Good Morning Everyone, 

Apologies for being MIA from the blog for a bit. 

After the funeral I was set to start blogging again but then I started all the prep for Planet Comicon and basically I got nothing written at all last week. Yesterday I took the day to basically recharge my batteries from a weekend of awesomeness, which by the way I will have a post on hopefully Thursday, and today I will be spending setting my house back to order and hopefully lots of writing. 

I also apologize that I missed all your posts from the past few weeks. I tried to read a few but I had literally over 300 posts to go through and it just did my mind a solid by marking them all as read and starting fresh this week. 

So here's to being back at the blog again! I've missed you.

Hello, I'm Sick

Good Morning Everyone, 

So over the weekend I managed to get sick. Of course because I am a good blogger and super organized I totally had posts scheduled and ready to go. Wait....no I didn't. 

So obviously I had posts in draft that I could just select and publish those right? 

Yeah I didn't think that sounded like me either. 

So instead I am completely behind on comments, haven't read any blog posts, and of course had to whip this post up on Tuesday morning because I gave Monday a complete miss. ( I am SO sorry! I will respond to your comments I promise!) 

I wanted to post yesterday but every time I looked at a computer my head started to swim. Also I was catching up on all the things that didn't get done over the weekend because I was down and out. It took literally hours to do all the dishes, laundry, vacuuming, dusting, etc. Adding in time to cough, sneeze, and generally wheeze about. I wish I could have just left it all until I felt better but I couldn't look at the dishes for another minute in my sink. 

So today I will be working on catching up reading blog posts and responding to comments. At least I will for as long as I can before my head starts swimming again. (I think I have a mild ear infection as well.) 

Hope your Tuesday is going well. Disinfect ALL THE THINGS. Cold Season is upon us.
