Thursday Randoms

Good Morning Everyone!

First off, you all rock! I was jumping up and down with joy at each and every comment yesterday! The Emperor was a huge hit and I am so glad you all enjoyed!!! Also if you were looking to make my whole week brighter well....

Okay so today I didn't really have a post planned so I thought I would do a bit of random that is going on in my life. 

1) My daughter has fallen in love with these socks. They are my workout socks (and they are clean BTW) and for some reason she has taken to carrying them around the house. Weird. 

2) I got a hat (actually my Mom bought it for me). I have no idea why other than it looked good on me. I don't know where I am going to wear it. I love it anyways. 

 

3) I had no idea that Nick and Nora's Infinite Playlist was a book first. I grabbed it at the library, so far am really loving it! 

4) I am debating on doing a post about what it is like to have 8 dogs in the house. It's madness basically, but still funny. Also I totally want to keep a puppy....but SHH don't tell. 

5) I actually managed to get through my Blog Lovin' Feed and comment on some blogs!

Good Morning Everyone,

It's Wednesday....Let's do this.

...I confess the reason I have been hiding out and not posting is because the 5K. It totally did not happen. One due to the horrible weather, I was not going to take my daughter out there. Two because both of my running buddies had horrible migraines due to the horrible weather. Oh well I got a free T-shirt.

...I confess I felt guilty about it for like....a minute... before I just told myself to go back to bed. (It was 5am on a Sunday)

...I confess that I want to punch my husband in the throat when he hands me the baby and clearly she is soaked and/or stinky and then acts like he had no idea. Seriously?

...I confess that I cried multiple times over Robin Williams.

... I confess that I lost it several times while on Facebook because people are using his death as a political soapbox. Damn it people can't we just grieve? Why does everything have to be a statement? Ugh hate Facebook....

... I confess that I spent ten whole dollars on myself on Monday. I had hit a weight loss goal (I'm actually kicking ass at it lately but that is for a Monday Post)  and I wanted a reward. I have told no one but I bought two of the OPI nail polishes from last week's favorites. They are still in hiding but every time I see them..I just...

...I confess that this post had started out as a gloomy one until I started looking at these Gifs. The sheer power of sarcasm and hilarity.

The Post That Didn't

Morning Everyone!

Okay so I was going to do a Linkup post today but last night as I was writing it the power went out and I lost it. 

Then I lost it. 

Sorry but after the chorus of "SERIOUSLY!?!?" I gave up and went to bed. This just isn't my week!

Confessions 8/6

Good Morning Everyone!

Today is Confession Day and I will get to the funny stuff in a moment, but first....

Apologies for no post the past two days. Monday I was hobbling around with a pulled muscle in my hip and trying to clean my house so that people could come look at a puppy. They didn't show because the wife went into labor. Legit reason! Anyhow I was so exhausted from hobbling and feeling like crap that I just didn't get to the computer to post.

Tuesday....ugh Tuesday was awful. I was woken up by my phone going off and when I answered it was my Dad. My brother got into a car accident. The lady rear ended his car and totaled it, but Thank all the powers that be, my brother was okay.  Anyhow my Dad was at work in the city and wanted me to go and get my brother from the scene. It was only a couple miles away from my house so getting ready at the speed of light, the baby and I were there to get him within less that 15 minutes. The rest of the day was spent getting Bear (my brother's nickname) checked out at the ER. He injured his Trapezius and messed up some nerves in his neck, but other than that checked out okay. Mom and I picked up his meds and took him home and took care of him the rest of the day. I am so thankful that everything turned out okay because honestly it could have been a much worse situation.

So there you have it, Why I was MIA the past two days!

Now let's move on to lighter things and Get with the Confessions!!!

...I confess that on Monday after cleaning I put on "What to Expect When You Are Expecting" the movie and balled my eyes out when the babies were being born. Kyra was asleep in my arms and I was sobbing like a big goober remembering the day she was born. Full on Ugly Cry kids.

...I confess that although we have given four puppies away and only have five left I feel like I am going to die each time. Seriously I cannot handle this giving the pups away business. I am too mushy inside.

...I confess that SWAMP PEOPLE is my guilty pleasure show. Some of you do Real Housewives or the Bachelor....but not this girl. I have no idea what the obsession is but I LOVE that show.

...I confess that I binge watched Season 4 of SWAMP PEOPLE on Amazon Prime over the weekend when I saw that it had become available. #NoShame

 

....I confess that I stayed up reading the other night until 1am. I was reading the first Ever After High book. I really am ridiculous.

...I confess that I shave my legs every other day. Seriously I will get out of bed at 2am to shave if I feel any prickly bits.

 ... I confess that clean sheets and shaved legs are the bomb.com
