Thoughtful Thursday: Books are Love

Good Morning Everyone!

Today I am stealing borrowing a post from Kenzie! I love books as most of you know and I thought that this post was right up my alley and also would be a lot of fun! 

Here we go! 

Author you have read the most books from:
Probably K.A. Applegate, I read the entire series of Animorphs.  

Best sequel ever:
This is a tough one....most of my series I read have lots of books...not just a "sequel" I will say I loved Doctor Sleep which is a sequel to The Shining. 

Currently reading: 
The Furies by Mark Alpert 
 
Drink of choice while reading: 
Cocoa....always cocoa!

E-Reader or physical book: 
Physical books are much preferred however I do love the e-books now that I can check them out instantly from my library!

Fictional character you probably would have dated in high school:
Probably Park from Eleanor and Park Or Atticus from the Iron Druid Series
 
Glad you gave this book a chance:
The Black Jewels Chronicles- I passed them by for SO LONG, but once I read the first one I was hooked. Beautiful Fantasy worlds! 

Hidden gem book: 
Joust by Mercedes Lackey. I've read it many times and it is a beautifully written fantasy. 
Also The School For Good and Evil is a brilliantly written young adult book by Soman Chainani
 
Important moment in your reading life:
When I passed my love of reading to my little brother by reading him the Harry Potter Serious out loud when he was little. I have loved reading from the beginning but seeing him suddenly learn to love it and then become just as voracious a reader as myself made me very proud.

Just finished:
 Doctor Sleep by Stephen King 

Kinds of books you won’t read:
I think that Military History or books along that line are the most difficult for me to really read so I tend to avoid them, but honestly I try to give every book a chance.

Longest book you’ve ever read:
More than likely it is something by George R. Martin. Those are some THICK books! But I honestly have no idea. I rarely check word count. 
 
Major book hangover because:

Number of bookcases you own:
Eight at the moment, more to come I'm sure!

One book you have read multiple times:
 Oh good lord....I read lots of them multiple times. Other than Harry Potter? Um...The Hobbit. Yep probably The Hobbit.


Preferred place to read:
Either curled in a corner of the couch or else in bed in the dark.

I regret nothing, however I have started not finishing if it sucks!

The Inheritance Cycle Series....I haven't read the last one yet...it's on my "To Read" list!!!

Please....just three? I'm a series girl. There are no "Most" favorite. That's like picking a favorite child. Honestly....

Very excited for this release more than all the others:
The next in the Iron Druid Series.

Worst bookish habit:
Starting multiple books at once, leaving my books all over the house and using about anything as a bookmark. Drives my husband crazy.

Your latest book purchase(s):
 I bought the entire Water Song Series on a whim from Amazon. They are wonderful books though! 
  
Zzz-snatcher book (the last book that kept you up way too late):
Doctor Sleep by Stephen King. Aside from being a page turner it also scared me and left me with haunting nightmares...Thanks for that Mr. King.....
